Bond Interactive to offer range of Web 2.0 PR services
London, 9 October 2008: Helping companies benefit from the huge business opportunities in new media communications is the goal behind the launch today of Bond Interactive by BondPR International, the specialist in multi-country campaigns.
Bond-i offers a range of online services and social media tools to enable companies to engage more effectively with their customers and other stakeholders. Bond-i has partnered with Neville Hobson, an acknowledged social media pioneer, who will be the Development Director of Bond-i.
“Companies are increasingly realizing that they need to be part of the conversations being held on blogs, micro-blogs and other niche communities to raise both awareness and the perception of value of their brands”, says BondPR CEO Tom Burgess. “Bond-i helps companies join these conversations in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual environment.”
To kick off its initiative Bond-i has devised a series of webinars which help inform PR and marketing professionals as well as business managers about the rapidly-changing media and communications landscape. “Tell Me More about Social Media,” the first in the series, will take place later this month. (For details and to register, visit www.bond-i.com.)
Bond-i has started a new blog, BondBuzz, which is intended to be a conversation on PR and media with an international perspective, inviting contributions from the BondPR team and clients from around the world.
Bond-i will launch a regular podcast to focus on ideas for effective international communications to include interviews with leading influencers from around the globe. This will be followed by a multi-channel online video resource for client material. In addition an online press room will enable clients’ news releases - traditional and social media versions - to be posted in multiple languages, automatically pinged to key news sites, and linked directly to related information.
“Bond-i represents a tremendous opportunity for companies to develop far more effective communication and marketing strategies,” says Neville Hobson. “I’m very excited to be working with Tom and the team at BondPR to help organisations understand how social communication is the most effective way they can build genuine and sustainable relationships with their customers.”
The initial range of services from Bond-i will include:
- Consultancy and training in social media communication
- Blog management
- Blog relations integrated into strategic public relations
- Online press office management
- Production and distribution of podcasts and video clips
